Hushed vocals describe pastoral landscapes and conversations heard
primarily in the narrators' heads on The Accidental's There Were Wolves. Mostly acoustic instruments hum and
pierce with precise sincerity. The result could have been wimpy and
insular; instead, these Brits gathering themselves from other bands
(Tunng, Bicycle Thieves, the Memory Band) cohere as their own entity:
