All the fuss last week over Kanye West and 50 Cent was misplaced: Chamillionaire bests them both while neatly sidestepping the sophomore slump on his second major-label album.
The Houston MC (born Hakeem Seriki) is street-wise enough to appeal to rap fans who care about that sort of thing, and he also displays a conscientious streak on songs taking aim at various social and political ills, from the war in Iraq to poverty in the 'hood.
